Well to us it means our girls are first and foremost treasured family
members, who form a large part of our everyday lives not just when
pregnant or nursing their young. They eat best quality food all year
round which is supplemented with high protein foods, fish, chicken
and lamb in the latter half of pregnancy and during lactation, to help
ensure both mum and puppies are both healthy and well nourished.
Our girls holiday with us, walk with us and play with us.
All are sweet natured, steady and well adjusted to all the hustle and
bustle of a family home. Our pups are born in a dedicated bedroom
and for the first week or two mum and pups have piece and quiet,
with just adult 'visitors'. They then join the rest of the family where
they become accustomed to the hurly burly of family life. Making
the pups confident, steady and curious, not phased by domestic
noises or children's sometimes erratic behaviour. They are petted
and fussed by young and old alike.
We pride ourselves that when they leave us for their 'forever homes'
we have done all that is possible
to ensure they are happy and healthy,
ready to give as much joy to their
new family, as they have given to us.
